Business trip to London. The Moroccan delegation was composed of Mr. Mustapha Bakkoury CDG’s Chairman, Mr. Ahmed Zinoun SCR’s Managing Director, and Mr. Larbi Mohammed Nali Deputy Managing Director and myself . We visited the Moroccan embassy in London, and presented SCR and investment opportunities in Casablanca at Lloyd’s. The presentation was attended by Lloyd’s Chairman, Mr. The Ambassador of Morocco to UK and many London re/insurance market players.

Business trip to the Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan insurance markets. We visited 5 companies in Kazakhstan and 3 in Uzbekistan. This visit aims at initiating cooperation between SCR and these companies

I was accompanied by Mr. Noureddine Allaoui, the Manager of the FAIR Aviation Pool and Manager of the Asian Market Department at SCR for a visit from Istanbul (Turkey) to Almaty (Kazakhstan) to Tashkent (Uzbekistan). We remained for a week in Turkey, then stayed 3 days in Almaty and finally 5 days in Uzbekistan before returning home though Istanbul. We met Chief Executives and managers of insurance and reinsurance companies and we have expressed our mutual will and readiness to work together on insurance opportunities in these countries and on the ways to further promote them, specifically that the region is a potential business area after the recent independence from Ex URSS.
